To keep things fun, here is a quick interview of Josh.

Something about you (what you like etc):

When I’m not helping affiliates, blogging, or testing out campaigns, I am usually hanging out with my wife, Amanda, and my 4-month-old son, Jayden. I also am a big music fan, both playing it (guitar) and listening to it. My favorite styles are Electronica, Alternative, and everything in between. Lately I’ve been playing with a lot of apps and reading books on my iPad.

Experience in the industry (years in – whatever):

I got started on the internet like many people did: with AOL and 14k dial-up in the mid 90’s. I remember learning HTML and coding video game fansites using nothing but Notepad… Technically speaking, I’ve been in the affiliate marketing industry for about 2 years now (which seems like an eternity with how quickly things change in the space). During that time I’ve been glued to the monitor for a good 8-12 hours every day.

What you like about working in this industry:

What I love about this industry? Let me count the ways… One thing I love about this industry is the people in it. Everybody is in it to make money, just like a lot of industries, but there is a sense of camaraderie and belonging that you don’t find elsewhere. There are lots of young, super intelligent, fired-up people making money on the internet, and there’s no place I’d rather be. There is so much opportunity out there and so many new ideas being created at such a rapid pace, it never gets boring for me.

What you want to bring to GetAds:

I am super excited to join the GetAds team. As far as my goals, I definitely want to help the network grow and become a dominant force in the industry. But more importantly, I want to bring a superior network experience to our affiliates. We would be nothing without them, and I will stop at nothing to help them become more successful in their own businesses. That’s probably my favorite thing about working for GetAds and the industry in general: I can only succeed by making my affiliates more money!
